About Me
Hello! My name is Nikki DeMercado and I am one of three School Social Workers in the district. Currently, I support students socially and emotionally in Young 5s, Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third Grades.
I graduated from Michigan State University (GO GREEN!) with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. During my first eight years working in the field of mental health, I continued my education through Western Michigan University, and earned a Masters degree in Social Work. I have a certification in School Social Work and hold a clinical Master of Social Work license. 2023-2024 school year marks my 16th year with Coloma Community Schools. #COMETPRIDE!
