I am the K-3 Special Education Resource Room Teacher. The 2020-2021 school year is my third year teaching in Coloma.
I have taught kindergarten or first grade in Benton Harbor Area Schools for 26 years. During the 2017-2018 school year, I was part of their Administration as the Partnership Agreement Accountability Assistant.
My Bachelors' Degree is in Special Education from Calvin University (formally Calvin College) and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education is from Western Michigan University.
I live in Benton Harbor with my husband, Tony, who teaches Special Education (Math) at St. Joseph High School, my son, Howie, who is a junior at St. Joseph High School, my daughter, Mary, who is a senior at St. Joseph High School (and also taking classes at Lake Michigan College), and our two dogs, Ollie and Prince.
