Welcome to Kindergarten!
All about Mr. Dubina
My name is Mr. Dubina and I’m very excited to have you in my classroom! This will be my seventh year in teaching and my second year in Coloma.
It won’t take much time to see I love what I do. I bring a positive attitude and energy to the classroom each day. My classroom should serve as a safe space for students to learn and grow. My goal is to foster students' learning, while also addressing their different needs.
Interesting Facts
- Jordy is my five-year old dog and best friend! If you are in South Haven, you may see Jordy and myself around town. We like to go rollerblading by the pier and visit the beach.
- I grew up in Canton, Ohio and moved to South Haven seven years ago. I have a brother who is seven years older than I am. He teaches middle school science and coaches baseball in South Haven!
- I’m a type-one diabetic and was diagnosed at the age of two.
Expectations
I never expect a student to have a perfect day, however, each student should feel comfortable and confident at school. - I will act with kindness
- I will be helpful when I can
- Have fun

- I will find something that makes me happy each day
