I moved to the Coloma area from Wilmington, North Carolina. I studied elementary education and early childhood development at Alma College in Michigan. I grew up in the Saginaw, Michigan area where she graduated from Heritage High School in 2009. After college and student teaching in Freeland, Michigan, I moved to North Carolina to teach third grade in Raleigh and fifth grade in Wilmington. I loved North Carolina but was anxious to get back to Michigan to be closer to family and friends. I enjoy photography, technology, and was active in yearbook development during high school and college. I enjoy the beach, piano playing, and outdoor activities such as kayaking, swimming, and tennis. I am excited to be back in Michigan and teaching second grade at a place that feels like home.
